Colyna Bed & Breakfast
Colyna
is a modern bungalow that is welcoming and comfortable, set in a lovely garden,
which has decking to the rear and also a patio area where guests are free to sit
and enjoy the garden should they wish. We have three letting rooms, one double,
one twin and
one single.
The house is located on the edge of the small coastal village of Ardersier which has a hotel, public house, small convenience store, post office, pharmacy and medical centre. The Highland Food Stop restaurant/takeaway is two miles away and is open all day. Very close to Colyna is a lovely little stained glass studio named Half-A-Moon.
Colyna is only three miles from Inverness Airport, twelve miles from the city of Inverness and six miles from the seaside town of Nairn which has two championship golf courses. Also close by are Fort George and Cawdor Castle.
The B&B is run and owned by Colin and Lynda who will endeavour to make your stay
as pleasant as possible, and hopefully provide you with information on the
surrounding areas and places to visit close by. Nothing is too much trouble,
please ask.
There are fascinating historic places to visit in the area and Inverness Tours provide private or exclusive tours to all parts of Scotland guided by Highland history enthusiasts, historians or authors. Colyna makes a comfortable base for such a touring holiday.
